Mount Eden Retreat is a 189 acre hilltop Paradise in scenic Warren County, New Jersey. Operated as a retreat by Restringing Dynamics of Inner Development, a non-profit organization for Holistic education, Mount Eden hosts retreats, seminars, workshops and other events, including weddings and life cycle ceremonies.
Accommodations are in a spacious and gracious "Tara" like Manor house which has seven bedrooms, 4 full baths and a powder room. The beds are distributed among the rooms according to size. 25 people can be accommodated in private, semi-private and dormitory rooms.
Meeting space is divided among three downstairs rooms, a beautiful meditation room, a spacious living room filled with comfortable furniture, and the marble floored great room. Our dining room seats 25 people. We can provide extra seating for larger day groups.
Food at Mount Eden is gourmet, mostly organic vegetarian fare, beautifully presented. We can accommodate some special diets with advance notice.

Mt. Eden Retreat prides itself on impeccable Love and Light filled hospitality. The peaceful natural environment is totally private, with varied terrain which includes secluded fields, woods and meadows. There are huge rock outcroppings, boulders and ridges, a spring-fed pond filled with large gold carp, and a native American Sweat Lodge and fire pit next to the pond.
The large terraces north and south of the Manor are ideal for outdoor classes, dance, yoga and Tai Chi Chuan. Mount Eden is blessed with large old trees and spacious lawns. Walking trails exist at the perimeter of every field. For larger groups than we can accommodate in the Manor house, camping is an option, as well as inexpensive rooms at the local motel. Rates at Mount Eden are very reasonable, in comparison with other retreat centers.

The Visionary Director, Delane Lipka has been at the forefront of the Holistic Education movement for over 20 years, with a wealth of experience and knowledge of the ideas and the scope of their possibilities.
